This city has probably seen as many triumphs and failures as the protagonist Rick Dalton. But the God of Fate is never mean. At least in Tarantino's hands, there are no winners or losers, and he embraces the lives of everyone involved in his films. In that sense, this work is not a tombstone to nostalgize or commemorate the past, but a literal love letter that continues to be loved even today.
What a 6-year-old boy absorbed as much as he could while in this city eventually became a root, a trunk, and before he knew it, the brightly colored flower of ``Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'' bloomed. It's 2 hours and 41 minutes of love for movies. We should savor the crystallized memories engraved here not just once, but over and over again. This work is a masterpiece that deserves it.
