A new perspective of not knowing Hannibal's true identity

What's interesting about ``Hannibal '' is that Hannibal , who was in prison in `` The Silence of the Lambs ,'' works normally as a good psychiatrist in this movie (although he is involved in criminal activities behind the scenes). The fact that he cooperates with the police in the investigation adds to the thrill of whether or not he will be found out. Will gradually begins to have doubts about Hannibal, and the battle between the two develops, a development that has never been seen before.

Moreover, of course we, the viewers, ``know'' that Hannibal is a cannibalistic murderer. As a result, it's thrilling to see Will getting closer to the truth, and you can also enjoy watching it from Hannibal's perspective and wondering, ``Will he be able to hide it well?'' The film creates suspense by depicting Hannibal not as a murderer from the beginning, but at a time when his existence was not yet known. It's a very clever approach to dealing with well-known characters.

In ``Hannibal,' ' Hannibal, who learns about the methods of other criminals while cooperating with the investigation, commits a copycat murder, inadvertently pins the blame on the culprit, and takes only the corpse, a cunning story similar to ``The Fisherman's Interest.'' There are scenes where he shows his anger, and scenes where he appears to be jealous of other criminals, and it's interesting to see that his own "style" still has some rough edges. The story also depicts Hannibal's "growth" as he goes to counseling and begins to lose his own identity.

In addition, a shocking development awaits in which Will, who was outwitted by Hannibal, is accused of a crime and ends up wearing his trademark straitjacket (being admitted to a mental hospital), taking advantage of his public image. The technique you used shines.

Furthermore, the drama version basically has a structure in which bizarre murderers appear one after another in every episode and they are captured (usually solved in about one or two episodes), so the structure is quite simple and easy to watch ( (Sometimes they are actually connected to Hannibal.)

The methods used by each of the killers are unique, and the film can be seen as a kind of universe in which a variety of villains appear, similar to Spider-Man and Batman . If possible, it will also be able to follow the activities of the powerful Hannibal reserve army, and if possible, it will also include the ``evil vs. evil'' showdown between Hannibal and the murderer.

In addition, the worldview of this work is said to have been influenced by David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, David Cronenberg, and Dario Argento, and if I were to summarize it forcibly, I would say that the creators created a strange and eerie mood. It can be said that this work was received well.
