It was great to meet Carrie-Anne Moss again.

Q: I was surprised to see that the role of Morpheus was replaced by Yahya Abdul-Martin II from Laurence Fishburne, and for Agent Smith, Hugo Weaving was replaced by Jonathan Groff.

Keanu: Me too (lol). I thought Yahya and Jonathan were very good. The balance between humor and seriousness was exquisite, and the two characters had both light and shadow, and they played both sides perfectly. That's wonderful.

Q: How was it to reunite with Carrie-Anne Moss?

Keanu: In one word, I was extremely happy. Actually, even after ``The matrix'' ended, we still kept in touch. So I was aware of changes in her personal life, including that she had gotten married and was now the mother of three children. However, I hadn't met her, so it was great to meet her and her family this time. I thought they were a wonderful family.

Carrie-Anne and I had a pre-workout routine. First of all, say "Good morning". The Day After we stretch and warm up together and begin training. She plays my favorite music to get me in the mood. We talked about our lives on the mat and encouraged each other. We did that with the previous trilogy, and I have very fond memories of it. This time around, there were a lot of changes, but Carrie-Anne's Carrie-Anne personality was still intact. Even after 18 years!

You know, there's a scene where Thomas Anderson and Tiffany are drinking coffee at a cafe, right? When we were filming that scene, we had so many emotions welling up in front of the camera that we had to fight hard to hold back the tears.

Q: I was also surprised that Chad Stahelski was cast as Tiffany's husband. He was your stunt double in the previous series, and that's how you worked together to create the John Wick series, so I think this casting has a deep meaning.

Keanu: Isn't it? (Laughs) Because Lana purposely came up with this character for Chad! I was very happy to be able to work with Chad, and we talked about Lana's shooting style. Chad wasn't around much, but he was there a few times and we had a great time.
